Geez, all I want to do is just sit in the sun and read all day. I don't even want any snacks beside me to enjoy the pure satisfaction from such a simple past-time.
I want to sit on the grass with a BLOODY FANTASTIC book in my hands and just enjoy myself in the sun. No, wait, I can't wait to read Les Miserables again. I haven't touched that book for two weeks and I miss it like hell. I want to relax and forget about all my problems while I drift off into another world. A world far, far away from this hellhole I call my school years.
Shit, the 'r' key on my dad's laptop just broke off! He's going to kill me! No, wait... just fixed it. Wooh, go me.
Just two more tests. Just three more days. ARGH.

Books, books, books!
I went to the city with my sister and my mum today. We had Taiwanese food (yum!) and then I went shopping by myself while my sister and mum went clothes and grocery shopping. I also had a Raspberry Mango smoothie which... wasn't very nice, but I drank it all anyway while I browsed around for books. Hmm, guess I'm not a 'smoothies-girl' then. I should've known- I don't even like juice (except guava juice, which I tried in Hawaii). I bought three books:
- Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky ($6.95)
- Persuasion by Jane Austen ($6.95)- I couldn't help myself. I love this book so much!
- The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown ($7.95)- just to see what all the fuss is about
I love Basement Books.

Books and the weekend
Think positive. Think happy thoughts. It's the weekend, I should- must- be happy and relax after such a stressful and emotionally-taxing week. Sleep in. Read. Listen to music. Watch a few chick flicks- anything that'll help.
I'm so glad all my tests are over and my history essay has been handed in. I don't think I did well in any of them- I don't have any confidence of having done well. Oh well. I'm looking forward to this weeked immensely. My sister, mum and I are having a girls day-out to the city on Sunday and I'm really hoping I can buy a few books at Basement. Shop around a bit while Mum and Sandy go clothes-shopping. I want to grab a few copies of Austen and some others- maybe George Eliot? I'll see. All I know is that it'll make me happy. There's something charming about bookstores that I can't help but like. I feel as if nothing could ever go wrong in there; everything's perfect, everything's calm. It's another world and I like visiting it from time to time. I've always had this crazy fantasy-dream of sneaking into a bookstore and hiding in there until the owners close up. Then I'd sneak out and read all their books ;) Crazy, crazy me.
