I watched Life is Beautiful (La vita e bella) last night, one of the sweetest films I've watched in a really long time, as well as the first Italian movie I've seen. It's a bittersweet movie, but also really romantic and funny, which I liked. This movie's up there with While You Were Sleeping for me :)

Last year we watched it in Spanish class even though it's Italian(we have a weird teacher)but it was so good! But at the end everyone was crying, even the boys were teary eyed! But I agree with you, it's brilliant :)

I remember watching this in English class! I was crying at the end and my teacher kept asking me if I was okay. But I wasn't the only one... just the only one who was really really crying. It was so good!
Ohh, I love this movie so much. The little boy is just adorable.
Is it really messed up and disturbing that I always enjoy holocaust movies and books? I just think it's fascinating. Terrible and horrific and unjust, but intriguing all the same.
