Learning Italian

I went to the library the other day and found a lovely section devoted entirely to languages! I quickly found the Italian section and hunted down two language learning tools which I hope will help me learn the language. Already I've learnt how to say all the numbers up to 999,999, how to translate the Italian monetary system (for example, if I were to say €3.56 that would be tre euro cinquanta-sei centesimi), as well as simple greetings and introductory speeches.

Ciao! Mi chiamo Lucy. Sono a cinese studentessa. Abito a Australia, di Sydney. Mi piace leggere, mangiare pizza, e ascolto musica.

I love learning Italian! It's something that I really enjoy because I'm really passionate about Italy right now, and I'm determined to learn another language before I'm 30. It makes me so happy to know that I'm learning something I love :)

I hope I'll be able to continue at this rate- I've learnt so much in just one day! And I'm learning it myself, too! I'm definitely renewing my loan- which, by the way, is due on my birthday (2nd August). I'm taking that as a good sign ;)
